Spring and her mother purchased a mare that a good friend had pointed them to. One day, when they came out to the barn, a baby was staring back at them! They were SHOCKED, as the vets had informed them she was indeed NOT bred! And so they welcomed Prissy into their barn. From a young age Prissy was very "boogery", quirky and easily distracted. As they started the process of training Prissy they had to take their time due to her being very sensitive and distractable. That meant that Prissy did not go to her first barrel race until she was 6-years-old. 

Today, Spring describes Prissy as a very "gritty" horse with a big heart. As she has continued her barrel racing career, Prissy has found success, having had many 1D wins, especially in the last 3 years, winning many buckles. Her biggest accomplishment was being the 2022 Texas State Champion! Additionally, they ended 4th in Nationals. Prissy has also placed in the top 8 in the BBR World Finals TWICE, won the All in Barrel Race Round 1, and in 2021 was the Vegas Tuffest Hot Round Champion. Prissy's family couldn't be prouder and are excited to see what they accomplish with her in the future.
