Sara has owned Rory from the time he was a baby! Rory as a baby was “sweet as pie” from day one and immediately filled Sara’s life with love. “I couldn’t imagine life without him”, Sara states. “He’s overwhelmingly sweet but also fierce and confident. I knew early on that he had all the right moves to succeed as a barrel horse.”

Rory went on to have a standout futurity year. He continued his success in the derbies and seamlessly transitioned to rodeo. In 2022 he won the 2022 Great Lakes Circuit Finals average which got them off on the right foot for 2023. This year was their first year to rodeo full time. 

Sara continues, “Many factors have molded Rory into the individual he is today. It started with his mom who was a lovely mare. Attention has been paid to ensure that his nutritional, veterinarian care, and additional treatments and therapies have been consistently given to allow him to excel. He’s my best friend so naturally I have to treat him the best which includes using a FLAIR® Strip on him. Rory pours his heart into every run and I'm thankful to be able to use a FLAIR Strip to help support his efforts."
